Eating Right For Your Metabolic Type???

I just finished devouring the book Eat Right for your Metabolic Type by Naturopath Cass Ingram.  I first heard Dr. Ingram on radio station WBAI in NYC.  I was very impressed by what he had to say. Other folks appear to be impressed too-the book is sold out on both amazon and barnesandnoble.com.

So much of the book made sense and after taking the tests in the book I have determined myself to be Thyroid/Adrenal type.  I designed a whole new protocol of supplements based on the principles in this book. Can't write anything. These supplements include:

  • B-Complex
  • Vitamin C
  • A supplement just to support the Adrenal Gland
  • A supplement just to support the Thyroid Gland
  • Cod Liver Oil (for necessary Omega 3 fatty acids)
  • GTF Chromium
  • Selenium
  • Digestive Enzymes
  • Silica(not mentioned in the book just something that I feel is beneficial to me)
  • Book specified Multiple Spice Extract a blend of oregano, cumin and cinnamon (which I ordered and  expect to receive later in the week)

All I can say ramping up to this regimen starting today -- I had very low cravings for sugar despite not having an ideal lunch.   I'll update this thread as time goes on.

Has anyone else found a supplement regimen that has boosted your efforst to eat / live healthier???

Note! This book is not to be confused with "Eat Right for your Type" by Dr. D'Adamo.

Thanks, Jessy! I definitely will. I know what each supple ment does and it makes so much sense! That is why I don't mind taking so many.
